But 'Practicing the presence of Silence' would be really challenging but a stimulating effort. When darts are thrown at you and you stand helpless wanting so much to take your stand yet not able to speak a word, it 'kills' you! Breaks you into pieces.
Silence..it is not abstruse. It is not beyond the understanding of an average mind.
The 'Lion' who was made as a 'Slain Lamb' stood 'Silent' before He was crucified. He spoke no Word yet He spoke. While He went through that excruciating pain, what He carried within Him to remain silent, spoke volume of what He demonstrated on the Cross!
Today, through the 'Death' of that 'Silent Lamb' we have 'Redemption'!
Twined and twisted, caught amidst the problems of the world, driven by the whims and fancies of love of this world, not realizing where our lives are heading toward...the unrested souls never tend to make notice of this tremendous attribute called 'Silence' and what it could bring when exhibited in splendor.
If the Lamb demonstrated it, what is that I am struggling for in my life.
Trails of Silence
I have His steps before my eyes
At times my eyes wouldn't see and I fail and fumble again!
I fail, I fall yet the grip on Him is still not lost!
My 'Daddy' says, "Child, Imitate me"
But Dad 'I feel inadequate'
He said "I carry you trough those trails. Do you see your steps on Mine?"
He continued " You walk yet I carry you"
I cried. 'Oh, My Daddy is closer than what I think!'
I decided to remain in the Silence of the Lamb.
When the world is teaching the lessons of life, key to the learning of meaning of 'Life' lies in understanding the depth of 'Silence of the Lamb'!
I know There is 'Life' after 'Death'!
Silence..simply jolts! Perceptible by the senses of every human being. Truly Exuberant!
