The very motivating factor for many of us is the desire to 'Enjoy Life'!
'HOW' is the sensible thing one can ask himself or herself. Many do not find the truthful answer and so end up defining our own ways.
Our own ways measure up to the standards of this world, fleeting, satisfying the urging desires of our hearts. We want to take hold of, take possession of all that we want to have in our lives. Our own reasoning and justifications are the very encouraging factors of our motivation to get what we want. As we take hold of such fleeting things one after the other, many of us fall in to the trap of devouring deception called 'peace' that this world can offer us, chanting 'Live life king size'!
Does anyone want to know the secret of living life in the 'FULLNESS'?
The secret is 'LET 'IT' GO'!
'IT' could be anything that you have taken 'hold' of in your life.
Dare to 'Let 'IT' Go! that you hold on tight in your life. Anything you hold tight will hold you tight making life difficult for you and at one point EVEN if you don't want it any further it wouldn't leave you. The 'hold' that you wantedly allowed in your life to gratify the flesh with become the 'stronhold' of your life. Many of us don't realize how 'killing' it is.
If you run after the fleeting things of the world, may it not hold you to become a strong hold of your life. How many have lost hopes in lives! How many in this world want to live life in it's fullness.
The surest way to have the FULLNESS of LIFE is to 'LET IT GO'!
In the Bible, God said to Abraham, "Take your ONLY son Isaac, whom you love!!!...and offer him as a burnt offering".
God tested Abraham's faith until the point that Abraham let go of his son to be sacrificed. But his confidence was in the same God who promised him saying ' In your seed (Isaac) all the nations of the earth shall be blessed, BECAUSE you have OBEYED My Voice".
God blessed him with nations through the ONLY son who Abraham was willing to 'LET GO'!
Are you willing to 'Let 'IT' GO' EVERY TIME, Every occasion, Everything....to possess all that God has promised in your life...life in Fullness!
Unless you and I are willing to 'LET IT GO', It is hard for us see the change that God wants to bless us with.
How much of FAITH one is willing to derive from Abraham...
...to the point that we can say that 'Yes Lord, I am willing. I am willing to 'LET IT GO'!
I am just moved by the fierce boldness of Abraham to OBEY God to give his ONLY son Isaac as a burnt offering...
Two reasons:
One, it is for the LOVE he had for his One true God, his son went as a burnt offering. God loves the burnt offering offered for Himself. It entirely belonged to Him. Burnt sacrifice was to MAKE ATONEMENT for the person bringing the sacrifice and it made possible to have FELLOWSHIP with the Holy God.
Two, Because of God's Faithfulness to His own Word. God said "..for in Isaac, your seed shall be called"
How many times, we need to 'Let 'IT' Go'?!
-How many ever times we allow ourselves as we take hold of things and people in our lives forming the gap between us and God.
-Anything that tries to take possession of the place that we have for the One true God in our lives.
God wants us as 'Burnt Offering' every day in our lives TRUSTing God completely!
Are you asking, huh..does anyone realize how hard it is to 'Let 'EVERYTHING' Go' in my life?
What do I have after letting go of everything in my life. Is there anything to enjoy in my life.
If you trust Jesus, the answer is YES! You have the FULLNESS of life!
If anyone dares to challenge this Zealous God, Go for it. Dare to 'Let 'IT' Go!
